Pirates Player Ratings v FS Stars

Soccer Laduma rates the individual performances of the Orlando Pirates players, following their 1-1 draw with Free State Stars.
Here are the ratings:
Brighton Mhlongo: 6
Despite his side being on the back foot for most of the game, he hardly had any shots to deal with and could do nothing about the goal.
Happy Jele: 6
Was solid in the first half and got forward on a few occasions to good effect.
Rooi Mahamutsa: 6
Proved to be a solid showing from Mahamutsa in the heart of defence and did well to frustrate the Stars attackers.
Ayanda Gcaba: 6
Looked shaky on a couple occasions but was solid overall.
Thabo Matlaba: 6
Solid defensively but was poor going forward, his final ball was not good enough.
Thabo Rakhale: 6
Given a rare start and it proved to be an impressive cameo from the skillful winger, although his final ball into the box was not the best.
Oupa Manyisa: 6
A quiet game from the Pirates skipper, hardly an effect on the game, even when he was pushed further forward.
Issa Sarr: 6
The Senegalese put in a solid showing against an impressive Stars side and did well to protect the back four.
Mpho Makola: 7
Pirates' brightest spark on the night, was a constant threat when on the ball and set up the first goal.
Kermit Erasmus: 6
Managed to get himself on the score-sheet once again but hardly an impact on the game after Pirates went ahead.
Lennox Bacela: 6
Started alongside Erasmus, but it proved to be a frustrating evening for the striker and was substituted in the midway through the second half.
Substitutes:
Thandani Ntshumayelo: 6
Replaced Bacela in the second half to help bulk things up in the midfield but hardly impacted the game.
Mwape Musonda: NA
Hardly had a touch of the ball on his Pirates debut.
Helder Pelembe: NA
Was not on the field long enough to receive a rating.
