Orlando Pirates have parted ways with one of the young strikers from their setup as the club finalises its squad for the 2018/19 season.
After sending defender Tercious Malepe on loan to Chippa United for the rest of the season as reported, the Buccaneers have also parted ways with Eethe Khaukanani.
The player’s camp has confirmed that the young striker has been informed that he was not in the plans of the technical team at Bucs.
In confirming the latest developments, the player’s agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi from Rush Hour Sport Management told the Siya crew that a settlement has been reached with Pirates for the parties to go their separate ways.
The former Free State Stars player has embarked on a search for a new club after he secured his clearance from Bucs.
Khaukanani had a stint with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC in the NFD last season on loan from Pirates. He has been playing in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge team at Bucs since joining the club from Ea Lla Koto in 2016 as he struggled to break into the first team.
