Pirates To Snatch Ndoro From Sundowns?
The latest news coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that Mpumalanga Black Aces striker, Tendai Ndoro, is set for a move to the Soweto giants.
Late last year it was reported by the Siya crew that the Zimbabwean was set to move to Mamelodi Sundowns after sources close to the proposed deal revealed that the parties involved had agreed to terms and that the switch was imminent.
Subsequently, it emerged that the 26-year-old was at the centre of a dispute between FIFA accredited Zimbabwean agent, Gibson Mahachi, and his South African counterpart, Karabo Mathang-Tshabuse of P Management, and that his proposed move to Chloorkop was in jeopardy.
Pirates, who have been linked to the player in the past, are now seen as the odds-on favourites to land the player’s signature. A source close to the player’s camp said that a deal with the Buccaneers could be reached soon with a move in the current transfer window on the cards.
“From what I know, he is looking to join Pirates before the end of the window period. It could be sooner rather than later,” said the source.
Contacted for comment, Vincent Phiri of P Management, said that the player is still an Aces player and would not divulge into his future. “We all know Tendai is our player and we look after him and as for now he is still an Aces player. There is nothing much we can say for now, " Phiri observed.
What the Siya crew does know is that both Bucs and Sundowns are keen on the player’s services and as it stands, but Ezika Magebhula could snatch him away from Aces, ahead of Downs.
