Bucs’ Medical Team Working To Get Mulenga Fit
Orlando Pirates medical teams working to get Augustine Mulenga fully fit
Following the injury statement released by Orlando Pirates on Zambian striker Augustine Mulenga, the Parktown-based club has confirmed that the club’s medical team is working tirelessly to get the player into shape.
The 28-year-old suffered a knee strain in training and according to the statement released by the club, he will be out of action for two weeks. However, the club’s Administrative Officer Floyd Mbele assured the Bucs faithful that the medical team was working around the clock to ensure that the striker returns to full fitness.
“There is no change in Augustine’s situation, however, people must know that the injury he sustained was not a major one. Our medical team are doing everything they can to have him ready,” said Mbele.
“We really want our supporters to see him in action. He is a very exciting player and we hope the Bucs supporters will get to experience and see for themselves what the excitement over this player is about,” he added.
Meanwhile, Soccer Laduma’s sister publication KickOff reported that the club was on the verge of finalising the Zambians work permit which has been hindered his debut since he signed for the Soweto giants towards the end of January.
