Orlando Pirates have made enquiries into the availability of Abbubaker Mobara from Ajax Cape Town, as revealed inthis week’s edition of Soccer Laduma.
The Siya crew has it on good authority from sources within both the Ajax and Pirates camp that Bucs made official enquiries into the midfielder.
The Ajax development product has also been linked with a move to Wits, which could see a swap deal involving Ryan Chapman, Robin Ngalande and Bhongolwethu Jayiya from the Students, and Tashreeq Morris and Toriq Losper from the Urban Warriors.
Wits have made it clear that the 20-year-old is a target for the club during the transfer window. Local media rumours have indicated that Kaizer Chiefs is monitoring the player.
It remains to be seen whether or not Ajax will hold onto one of their brightest prospects.
