Orlando Pirates In Hunt For Young Goalkeepers
An opportunity is available at Orlando Pirates for young goalkeepers who aspire to play football at professional level.
The Buccaneers have confirmed that the club will be hosting trials for aspiring goalkeepers, starting from this weekend.
Bucs took to the club’s official website to provide the details of the trials.
“Orlando Pirates will be hosting youth goalkeeper trials over the weekend at the Randburg Sports Complex. The trials are exclusively for goalkeepers who are between the ages of 16 and 19.
“All participants in the trials are required to report to training with the following:
“Physical ID / passport / unabridged birth certificate, Copy of your mother’s ID, Soccer boots,
Takkies, Goalkeeper Gloves, Shorts/pants and Shirts.
The trial details are as follows:
“Sunday, 14 January 2018 @ 10H00
“Monday, 15 January 2018 @ 12H00
“Tuesday, 16 January 2018 @ 12H00
“Please note that there is NO COST for participation in Orlando Pirates trials. There has been a recent spate of fraudsters taking advantage of families and making them pay for trials in the name of Orlando Pirates. The Club strongly condemns this behaviour and urges all participants and their families to be aware of anyone suggesting that they pay for participation in Orlando Pirates trials. All trials hosted by the Club are FREE OF CHARGE to all members of the public who meet the criteria required,” Pirates confirmed on the club’s official website.
