Having signed Abbubaker Mobara and Riyaad Norodien during the off-season, Orlando Pirates could be set to sign another player that was previously on the books of Ajax Cape Town, with young Yanga Baliso strongly linked with coach Muhsin Ertugral’s side.
The Buccaneers are believed to be finalising a deal with Baliso, after the player impressed the technical team in training. Baliso is a 19-year-old midfielder who was previously with Ajax.
Following the progress he has made during his development at the Mother City outfit over the years, Bucs have been tracking the rising midfield talent with the aim of luring him to Gauteng.
Sources have confirmed to the Siya crew that Pirates are in the process of finalising the player’s signing after he impressed the technical team.
It was reported by the Siya crew in June that Baliso had been identified as a potential transfer target for the Soweto giants, and the player is a free agent as his contract with Ajax ended in June.
