Orlando Pirates’ Musa Nyatama has hinted on what Milutin Sredojevic and the team should expect against Bloemfontein Celtic tonight.
Bucs will be at home at the Orlando Stadium tonight to face Celtic in their Absa Premiership clash.
Having spent four years playing for Celtic, before securing a move to Bucs for the current campaign, Nyatama is the best player in the Soweto giant’s camp to talk about tonight’s clash against Siwelele.
“Coming to Orlando Stadium is always a big deal. Celtic will be highly motivated because they want to cause an upset and win at Orlando against Pirates. For most teams, when travelling to Orlando, the players see it as an opportunity to prove that they are better than the current Pirates squad so they can also show that they too deserve to play here. This is an opportunity to impress a big team so it’s motivation of its own. I know from personal experience because I also Nyatama has been one of the consistent players in Bucs’ line-up, the central midfielder having amassed 22 starts and one substitute appearance in 24 matches for Bucs so far this season.
“We expect them to sit back and try (to) catch us on the counter; they used that tactic when they played against Maritzburg United. Orlando stadium is a big pitch and it’s easy for us to rotate the ball and create spaces. This is something we have been working on at training. We must stay compact and also try to counter press them and move to win the ball in their half, that way it won’t be easy for them to counter-attack,” said the former Mamelodi Sundowns player.
The match gets underway at 19:30.
