Orlando Pirates have officially parted ways with Yasser Mugerwa.
The midfielder struggled for game time at Pirates, since joining the club from Ugandan Revenue Authority for the start of the 2015/16 season.
Having made only three starts for Bucs during the course of last season, and having spent some time playing for the club’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge side, the Ugandan was placed on the club’s transfer list last month alongside Sifiso Myeni, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Felipe Ovono, Roger Majafa and Letsie Koapeng.
Pirates’ Administrative Officer, Floyd Mbele, has confirmed Mugerwa’sdeparture from the club to the Siya crew. Myeni and Majafa are yet to find new clubs, while Majoro has signed a two-year contract with Cape Town City.
Ovono has been removed from transfer list, while Koapeng was recently spotted playing for FC Cape Town in a friendly game.
