Orlando Pirates have issued an update on the fitness of the likes of Vincent Pule and Augustine Mulenga.
The Buccaneers will lock horns with SuperSport United this weekend at the Orlando Stadium, in an Absa Premiership clash that is known to be full of goals.
However, the Soweto giants will go into the encounter without the services of Thamsanqa Gabuza who was red-carded in their previous league fixture, while the club has also confirmed that one of their wingers is set to undergo a late fitness test.
“Pule is set to undergo a late fitness Vincent Pule is due to undergo a late fitness test ahead of the Absa Premiership clash against SuperSport United on Saturday,” Pirates said on their official website.
“The Bucs medical team have described his injury as ‘not serious’ however, they still need to assess the 26-year old before clearing him to play against Matsatsantsa,” the club added.
In addition, the Soweto giants have confirmed that Mulenga has been given the green light to be available for selection this weekend.
“Meanwhile, Zambian international Augustine Mulenga has been given the green light and is available for selection,” Pirates said.
