Orlando Pirates’ technical team is giving almost all the players a chance to impress during their pre-season training.
With Bucs expected to cut the squad from around 45 players to a manageable size before the start of the season, all the players are getting a chance to impress head coach Milutin Sredojevic and his technical team before the big decision.
During the team’s friendly match against TP Mazembe at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Zambia on Thursday afternoon, three different line-ups were used by Bucs’ technical team, as confirmed on the club’s official website.
Brilliant Khuzwayo (GK), Happy Jele, Gladwin Shitolo, Ben Motshwari, Mpho Makola, Xola Mlambo, Asavela Mbekile, Phetso Maphanga, Augustine Mahlonoko, Justin Shonga, Vincent Pule.
Wayne Sandilands (GK), Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Justice Chabalala, Diamond Thopola, Mthokozisi Dube, Abel Mabaso, Meshack Mapangule, Linda Mntambo, Kudakwashe Mahachi, Augustine Mulenga, Lerato Lepasa.
The third line-up featured a player called Caio Marcelo, who is believed to be a Brazilian undergoing a trial with the Buccaneers.

The friendly match between Bucs and Mazembe was played in three parts, with two 45 minute sessions and one 30 minute period.
