Orlando Pirates’ Justice Chabalala continues to attract interest from clubs despite not getting regular game time at the Soweto giants.
Chabalala was left out of Bucs' 18-man match day squad for the team's opening match of the 2018/19 season against Highlands Park on the weekend.

An indication from Siya sources in the know is that Baroka FC is keen on landing the defender from Pirates, as reported in edition 1085 of Soccer Laduma. Baroka joins Democratic Republic of Congo giants TP Mazembe with their interest in the centre-back.
Rush Hour Sports Management’s Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, who is Chabalala’s representative, confirmed that he has been approached by Baroka regarding the 26-year-old services.
“Baroka has made direct contact for Justice Chabalala. The club has confirmed interest in the player. Club chairman Mr Khurishi Mphahlele has contacted me directly to ask about the player and to confirm his club’s interest in him. I told the chairman to contact Pirates, who are the player’s employers, to make the request to the club,” confirmed Mulovhedzi.

The Buccaneers have not given any indications on whether Chabalala will be transferred out of the club during the July/August transfer window as was the case when he was loaned to Chippa United in January last year, or if the Giyani-born player will form part of coach Milutin Sredojevic's squad for the season.
Chabalala has entered into the last year of the three-year deal that he signed in 2016, when he joined the Soweto giants from Free State Stars.
