Orlando Pirates defender Justice Chabalala is said to have been impressive in training, with his debut in the colours of the Soweto giants said to be imminent.
The young centre back, who was signed by Pirates from Free State Stars in July, has yet to make his debut for coach Muhsin Ertugral’s team this season.
The 24-year-old was an unused substitute in both games for Bucs so far this season, during the league encounter against Golden Arrows and in the MTN8 tie against Bidvest Wits.
“Chabalala is nearing his official debut for Pirates. He has been impressive in training. He is a good player and he can help the team,” a source told the Siya crew.
The Buccaneers are in Cape Town for their second league game of the season, against Ajax Cape Town tonight.
