Orlando Pirates are still within a chance of attaining silverware this season. Though their rivals for the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal clash, Sundowns, have played the more attractive and winning football, the Buccaneers are still a big club with enough quality to go all the way and snatch the R7 million trophy.
Bucs winger, Mpho Makola, confirmed on the club's website that beating high flying Sundowns will be a mammoth task, but not an impossible one.
“We have not been doing too badly looking at where we come from. The fact that we are still in with a chance of claiming silverware this season should be something that people should also take into consideration”, the Bucs star told his club's website.
Meanwhile, Daine Klate, was quoted as being confident that his side will deliver an enhanced performance against Sundowns. “We do not need to fix too many things; it is just here and there that we need to fix and things will be okay again” Klate told the Orlando Pirates website.
It’s still unclear whether the speedy winger will feature for his club on Saturday.
