Bucs Confirm Loan Move For Young Striker
Orlando Pirates confirm Lerato Lepasa loan move to Stellenbosch FC
Orlando Pirates have confirmed sending one of their young strikers out on loan.
According to Bucs official website, striker Lerato Lepasa has completed a loan move to National First Division side, Stellenbosch FC.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing in the NFD. It’s a great opportunity for me to raise my game in a very tough and competitive environment,” said the Burly forward.
“I spent the pre-season with our first team and already got a taste of higher level competition so this is the next logical step for me. I have seen a little bit of how Stellenbosch plays and I believe I can fit in here and do well. It won’t be easy but I’m a hard worker so that should carry me through,” he added.
Lepasa has enjoyed success in his maiden SAB League season, where he led the Bucs attack in a successful campaign which saw the Soweto giants winning the league and play-offs to gain promotion to the ABC Motsepe League.
The Soweto giants have also confirmed that Lepasa will return to the team following his one-year loan spell in June 2019.
Meanwhile, the Sea Robbers are away to Chippa United this evening in the second PSL fixture of the season.
