Jonevret: We Are Going To Sleep Well
Orlando Pirates coach Kjell Joenvret says 'they are going to sleep well tonight' following his side's 2-0 victory against Mariztburg United on Tuesday night.
The Mayfair-based outfit put an end to their barren spell of 12 consectuive games without a victory in the Absa Premiership when goals by Ayanda Gcaba and Dove Wome handed them their first league victory of 2017.
"Maybe it was not a fantastic game to watch, but for us it was very important to win the game again and it was also a clean sheet," he said in post-match comments.
"In the end, I don't know what to say. We had the ability to score more goals with their two red cards, but at the same time, I'm not going to be angry about that, because the important thing was to win a game again so we can stop talking about that.
"You could see that there were players that were tired, but as I said we played a few days ago, but I want to give them a chance. I could've changed anyone - I just wanted a few fresh legs.
"We are going to sleep well tonight, we are a little more happy," he concluded.
