Pirates Done, PSL Officially A Five-Horse Race

Following last night’s games, this year’s Absa Premiership is now officially a five-horse race, with Orlando Pirates the latest team to be mathematically out of it.

While the league is currently being viewed as a two-team battle between the clubs sat in first and second place, there are still four other clubs who – as it stands – could still win the title mathematically.

After last night any – admittedly slim – chance that the Buccaneers had of pushing for the title was extinguished after Mamelodi Sundowns beat Polokwane City, with the Brazilians now sitting 20 points clear with only 18 points left available.

Check out the gallery above for the five remaining contenders. Who is your money on?
