Only One Stumbling Block In Ntshangase’s Chiefs Move

Only One Stumbling Block In Ntshangase’s Chiefs Move, Celtic Wait

By Soccer Laduma - Jan 04, 2018 10:09 AM

Siphelele Ntshangase is the hottest name in Mzansi football at the moment with his immediate future up in the air.

The Baroka FC star player has been heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs this January transfer window and the 24-year-old was expected to conclude his move to Naturena during on January 2.

However yesterday, on January 3, Baroka Chairman Khurishi Mphahlele informed the Siya crew that the proposed deal with the Amakhosi had been called off. It was subsequently reported that Chiefs were not willing to meet Baroka’s asking price for the player.

Bloemfontein Celtic became the frontrunners for the player’s signature, with talks between Baroka and Celtic taking place.

The Siya crew followed up with Mphahlele earlier today, January 4, and the club boss explained that Ntshangase’s move could still happen. It is believed that there is only one stumbling block in Ntshangase’s proposed move to the Soweto giants, and that is the transfer fee.

It seems that Chiefs could still secure his signature, while Celtic wait in the wings.

For a player to be transferred from one club to another, all three parties must agree on the terms. In this case, it is believed that Ntshangase is keen on a move to Chiefs, while Baroka and Chiefs cannot agree on a transfer fee.

Indications are that Celtic and Baroka are willing to find an agreement, though the player will have to agree to the move too.

As it stands, indications are that if Chiefs meet Baroka’s asking price, and the two clubs agree, Ntshangase will move to the Soweto giants.

I have heard from reliable sources that Mphahlele is asking for R4m even though he got the player for R2m from Leopards in less than 6 month time. Even myself i can't buy Ntshangase 4 that much though i must admit dat Chiefs is broke due to Bobby who's owing more than million in vehicle installments

Chiefs developed a habit of naming a price of their choice that’s why they always struggle to get players. That stupid habit is degrading them to a weak trophyless team all the seasons because of average quality they acquire Kikikikiii. Sundowns will collect the best players and will remain the best among the best in Africa.

Money! Money! Money! Is a problem in January. Kids need uniform, stationery, transport to and from school, pocket money, etc, the demands are high.

We have enough players with quality. We can now concentrate on getting a new coach to work around the current squad. Our challenge now is a coach nothing else

Bobby is my king for this deal, DO NOT PAY more than R2M for this player. Why do you want to reinforce the MDC squad with a R2M signing? Chiefs MDC team will not be relegated, you know the rules for this tournament.
