Black Leopards goalkeeper Posnett Omony is set to leave the Limpopo side at the expiry of his contract in June. Omony had his ups and downs with the club in the past season due to a lack of game time.
The Ugandan shared the goalkeeping duties with Azwindini Maphaha and Ayanda Mtshali, as Leopards tried everything possible to avoid relegation to the NFD.
Omony told the Siya crew that his representative has started with the arrangements for him to get a new club in the 2013/14 season.
“I’m just waiting on my manager to tell me what’s next. My contract with Leopards is due in June. Unfortunately, we couldn’t rescue the situation because things had already gone out of hand. My manager told me that he will come back to me when he gets something,” said Omony.
The 30-year-old has also played for Bloemfontein Celtic and Vasco da Gama in his PSL career. The player’s agent Benjee Nkhatho confirmed with the Siya crew that Omony is available to discuss a potential deal with any interested club.
