Oluwafemi Surfaces At Tuks

Former Wits defender Ayo Oluwafemi is on trial at University of Pretoria, as the Nigerian looks to land himself a new PSL deal.

The 24-year-old has been on the lookout for a new club after he was deemed surplus to requirements at The Students, without having played a single minute of competitive action for the team.

AmaTuks was dealt a huge blow following Ramahlwe Mphahlele’s return to Mamelodi Sundowns, and are assessing Oluwafemi to fill in at left-back. Coach Steve Barker will be wanting a reliable replacement at the back, as he looks to end the season in the top eight.

The former Platinum Stars man is seen as a player that can offer cover for Junior Sibande,  and challenge for a place in the line-up.

Should the Nigerian conclude a deal with the club, it will be his second spell, having spent some time with them before their PSL promotion.
