Chippa United captain James Okwuosa credited coach Teboho Moloi following his Man of the Match display in their 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs.
The Chilli Boys moved up to second spot in the Absa Premiership standings after defeating Steve Komphela's charges on Wednesday night.
"It was a very high intensity game. When we went into the first half, the coach had to tell us that we had to be leaders. We have to be leaders to our team-mates. Everybody has to work for each other," the Chippa defender told SuperSport after the game.
"I think that's what I did here. I never did it for myself. I did it so that Chippa United could win the game."
"I think our coach is a very ambitious man. I think he has his objective and we are dancing to his own tune."
