The transfer window slammed shut on Monday and the KwaZulu-Natal outfit managed to bolster their squad on the final day.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Matlaba has left Swallows to join Royal AM on a free transfer and will be wearing the number 14 jersey.
The DStv Premiership debutants have also signed Mxolisi Macuphu, Marlon Huegh and Shaun Mogaila from TS Galaxy.
Statement:
Herewith, kindly receive the official list of personnel (V.I.Z. Players and Technical staff) that have been released by Royal AM FC during this transfer window period.
As a team we have taken a cautious decision to trim the team to a manageable and affordable size, and we have taken into consideration the financial implications thereof. Below you will also find a list of our new signees as part of our efforts to stabilize the team strategically in certain positions. Though it was sad to part ways but in the best interest of the team and players, we had to down size. We found it also important to allow the players an opportunity to go to other teams where they could get game time.
“On behalf of the management of Royal AM FC, we would like to wish all the players and technical staff well in their new teams and thank them for having served us well. We also wish to welcome our new signees and hope that they will add value in our team and our journey.”
