Official: Chiefs Conclude Siphelele Ntshangase Deal

Kaizer Chiefs have concluded the signing of Siphelele Ntshangase.

In a twist of events that kept the Mzansi football fraternity on edge this week, the Soweto giants have finally secured the 24-year-old's signature.

Chiefs came close to losing out on the player to Bloemfontein Celtic, as Chiefs were expected to conclude Ntshangase’s move on January 2. However, on January 3, Baroka FC Chairman Khurishi Mphahlele informed the Siya crew that the move had been called off.

At the time, Chiefs were unwilling to meet Baroka’s asking price.

In a plot twist, Mphahlele informed the Siya crew early on January 4 (Thursday) that the attacker could still be heading to Chiefs. It was later revealed that Ntshangase was undergoing a medical with Chiefs.

The club has now confirmed that the two clubs have agreed on a deal for the player.

@nna_le_wena CHIEFS IS MASSIVE, WE MAKE THIS PLATFORM BIG, JUST IMAGINE YOU REMOVE CHIEFS SUPPORTERS FROM THESE DEBATES IT WILL BE THE MOST BORING ONES. ATTACKING US(CHIEFS SUPPORTERS ) MAKES THEM FEEL BETTER AS THEY WILL HAVE NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT THEIR TEAMS.

@blackmeteor, noted. If the standard of football continue to deteriorate at this pace, never mind mentioning Bafana Bafana, wrestling will be my next port of call.

@setlaboswana Strong words, not much I can say to that, except that more than 30 years of supporting Amakhosi has given me lots of happiness, joy, anger, sorrow, despair, pride and all kinds of emotions and I wouldn't change it for anything and I cannot stop loving football or supporting my team.

@chiccovaro, again you are not answering my questions, I said Ngoma played exceptionally well at his previous club and won a silverware with the so-called small team. What did Mahlasela and Ntshangase achieve?

@chiccovaro, well my friend, let's agree that for the past 2 seasons plus the current campaign Downs have surpassed Bucs and your club which means any criticism to Downs and Pitso will not be justified. I don't intent to get involved in fau 's internal politics and family feud.

@setlaboswana we can never compered ngoma & mahlasela they HV their deferent style of play ngoma strength relying on over speed & he's good when he's free less pressure on him or only one on one then over speed while mahlasela HV skill vision for passing while he's been surrounded & skill to free himself so those are 2 deferent player they are star in their own style BT ntshangase ngumlungu

@blackmeteor, no..it is not a miracle that you are occupying the third sport. Yes, generally PSL is a Disaster. I think there are a number of relatively stronger teams than fau in the league. This is why I am saying it will be to my best interest to quit supporting football should they win the league this season, this is not a disrespect, but I feel football will not worth my support if this happen.

@setlaboswana nooooo in reply brother nooooo again look each coach has his style of play with certain players that suit he's style player that's been sign & nt been used by downs means pitso doesn't knw what he's doing cz he's Been given freedom to get all he wanted then why he sign players bt nt using them that's alone says a lot Steve mostly management sign for him that's why its difficult for him to use those players cz they don't suit he's philosophy

@chiccovaro, that is why the national team has been a disaster. In fact, it looked like we are in the right track when Tau, Mabunda, Vila and Zwane started to show glimpse of good performance, unfortunately it was too late for them to resuscitate Bafana Bafana. Remind me, was Ntshangase ever given game time in the National Team? But you are not answering my questions man.

@chiccovaro, no..no..no..no, let's get this right baba. A player does not become a star because he has joined Downs, nooooooooo.....He become a star because of the quality he possess and his contribution to his team supported by proven record. Ngoma is a star in his own right, he performed exceptionally well at his previous club, he won a silverware with the so-called small team. Do you want to compare Ngoma with Mahlasela and Ntshangase, no man. What did they achieve in their career?..... coming to your second question, why star players find it hard to make a break through at Downs. The answer is simple there is quality at Downs.
