Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and his technical team are still assessing Njabulo Ntusi with a view of adding him to their roster for the 2013/14 season.
Soccer-Laduma revealed on Monday that the former Orlando Pirates defender was being assessed by Sundowns’ technical team.
The latest news reaching the Siya crew is that although the player is showing signs of brilliance at training, he needs to work on his fitness levels and get back into shape as he has been without a club for some time.
Ntusi struggled to find a club after leaving Pirates last year. According to a source close to Sundowns, a decision on the right back will be made in due course.
The Secunda-born player has also played for the University of Pretoria in his career. He had an unsuccessful trial with SuperSport United last year under the club’s previous coach, Gavin Hunt.
