A brace from Siyanda Ngubo and goals from Ayabulela Magqwaka and Orlando Pirates midfielder, Nhlakanipho Ntuli, saw Amajita beat the Seychelles 4-0 in the opening Group C match of the Cosafa U20 Championship.
Amajita were far the better side and fully deserved their win against the hapless Seychelles side that was lucky not to concede more than four goals.
Ngubo opened the scoring for the Shakes Mashaba-led side after only just 13 minutes into the match before Magqwaka made it 2-0 after 28 minutes.
Ngubo then completed his brace after just three minutes into the second half.
Ntuli, who was controlling the game in the middle of the park for Amajita, then put the final nail into the Seychelles’ coffin to make sure that his team starts the tournament on a high note.
Zambia will meet Namibia in the other Group C match to be played this afternoon.
Amajita’s next match is against Zambia at Maseru on Saturday.
