Orlando Pirates midfielder, Thandani Ntshumayelo, is still doubtful for a return to the starting 11 due to injury, ahead of the CAF Champions League first leg final.
Ntshumayelo has been struggling with a foot injury that has kept him out of action for some time.
The 23-year-old last played during Bucs' 3-1 win over Mpumalanga Black Aces in the Telkom Knockout on October 08.
A source within the Pirates camp confirmed to the Siya crew that the central midfielder has been allowed to wait for the injury to heal properly.
“He doesn’t want to rush and risk aggravating the injury. He wants to take as long as possible to allow the injury to heal properly,” said the source.
Pirates are preparing for Saturday’s all-important CAF Champions League first leg final against Al Ahly.
Football supporters have been encouraged to purchase their tickets for the game early to avoid disappointment.
