Peterborough United’s South African defender, Kgosi Ntlhe, resumed training today as he looks to work his way back into the club’s first team and regain his form.
The talented 18-year-old suffered an unfortunate ankle injury against fellow Championship side, Sheffield Wednesday, back in November and was ruled out for at least four months.
Now, following surgery to his ankle, the South African under-20 star is back in training with his teammates and hoping to make his league comeback in the coming weeks.
Ntlhe received a call-up to Gordon Igesund’s Bafana side when they faced Brazil and Mozambique last year, however was left unused by the head coach who stated that he was still too young.
At just 18, the full back is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future of South African football and until his injury, had been turning heads in the United Kingdom.
