Nthethe Renews Celtic Deal

Bloemfontein Celtic captain Thabo Nthethe has renewed his deal with the club by a further three years.

The Bafana Bafana defender has been a loyal servant of the club, having joined in the 2004/05 season. He was the subject of transfer speculation in the previous transfer window, with Mamelodi Sundowns linked to the player, however he has continued to pledge allegiance to Siwelele.

The club confirmed the news on their official website, with CEO Khumbulani Konco saying, “Nthethe has been one of our most loyal players for nine years now and we are delighted that he has signed a further three year deal.

"The club’s stance is to hold on to our best players and this shows that despite offers from other teams we managed to hold on to our captain."
