The Serbian bagged a brace as the Absa Premiership leaders thumped Stellenbosch FC 4-0 at Cape Town Stadium.
The victory restored Chiefs' 10-point lead over the defending league champions, but Nurkovic insists there is still a long way to go.
"There's no title that any team has won in November, there's still a lot of games to play, we just need to continue with the same spirit, in the end it will be okay for us I'm sure," he told SuperSport after the game.
The result comes off the back of a shock Telkom Knockout loss to Maritzburg United, but Nurkovic feels that can happen to any team in the world.
