Former Black Leopards defender Humphrey Khoza’s misfortunes have continued following his unsuccessful trial with Bloemfontein Celtic.
The Siya crew reported recently that the player was training with Siwelele in the hope of securing a contract, after he was released by Lidoda Duvha.
The 26-year-old player, who was often hailed as one of the better performers for Leopards during the course of last season, has gone on trial with a number of clubs since his exit from Leopards, including Polokwane City, Maritzburg United and Celtic, however without any success.
According to Siya sources, he was impressive at training and the club toyed with the idea of signing him, but after the chance to sign Clayton Daniels presented itself, Celtic opted for Daniels which meant there was no longer a need to add Khoza to the squad.
The same fate befell the player at the Team of Choice, who decided on signing Robyn Johannes ahead of him.
