No Pelembe For Tuks

University of Pretoria have decided against bringing a second Pelembe to the PSL, choosing not to sign Elias Pelembe’s countrymen, Helder.

Though the striker is of no relation to the Mamelodi Sundowns man, the pair do both hail from Mozambique, though Helder will not be given a shot at the PSL this time around.

The talented Mozambican is said to have impressed some of the Tuks technical team, while others were not convinced by his skills and he was subsequently sent home.

At one point it was thought that the forward would be signed by Steve Barker’s side, however, after much discussions between the technical team, it was decided that he wouldn’t be taken on by the club.

Meanwhile, Dipsy Selolwane looks likely to follow Diyo Sibisi out of the club while Siyabonga Shoyisa has returned to training after being sidelined with a hamstring injury. Sepeke Manamela and Mpho Maruping are still undergoing rehabilitation in order to get themselves fit.
