The latest player to get injured is Team of Choice captain, Michael Morton. He joins a list of eight other players who are currently on the injured reserve list at the club.
However, the good news for United fans is that the midfielder could be set for a return to action sooner rather than later.
United's Team Manager, Quintin Jettoo, revealed that the player had taken a knock against Platinum Stars but was recovering fairly well. He also revealed how many players in the first team were now out of action with injury.
"Michael's X-rays are clear. He took a knock against Issa Sarr. It was a blow to his head and neck, he couldn't see at half-time out of his one eye.
"So we've taken precautions because getting a blow to the head is a sensitive area. His vision has cleared up fine and it's just that he's got some neck spasms.
"He'll be checked again later as well. So, that's nine players out now."
