Free State Stars have moved further down on the Absa Premiership log after their loss against Chippa United on Friday last week.
The Bethlehem outfit is 15th on the log, after winning only four matches from the 19 they have played so far during the 2018/19 season.

The team’s current head coach, Nikola Kavazovic, has managed to guide the side to only one win in four league matches since taking over at the helm.
On arrival at the club in December, the Serbian coach confirmed that his mandate this season is to help the Free State outfit to avoid relegation. However, under Kavazovic’s guidance, Stars lost to Bidvest Wits, beat Maritzburg United and lost to Cape Town City and Chippa respectively in the league.

The team’s next match will be a Free State derby against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Dr Molemela Stadium on February 24.
According to sources, management has become increasingly concerned at the team’s disappointing results though there is still a belief that the Serbian mentor can still turn things around for the club.
