Reported Chiefs Target Refutes PSL Contact

With media reports from Botswana linking him with both Kaizer Chiefs and Free State Stars, Nikola Kavazovic has had his say on the rumours regarding his future.
It was reported by Weekendpost.co.bw that the Serbian was a potential target for both Amakhosi and Ea Lla Koto as they look ahead to next season, with Steve Komphela’s Chiefs contract expiring and Luc Eymael being touted for his post at Naturena.
Township Rollers coach Kavazovic’s name is one of many linked with the post at Naturena, should Chiefs decide not to extend Komphela’s deal at the end of the current campaign, though there has been no confirmation either way at this stage.
The Siya crew got in touch with the coach to ask him about the rumours circulating regarding his future, though he insisted that there had been no contact from anybody in the PSL, let alone the Glamour Boys.
The 42-year-old said, “Nobody from the PSL has contacted me since I came to Africa last July… I am fully committed to Township Rollers and the CAF Champions League.”
Kavazovic recently became the first person to guide any team from Botswana into the CAF Champions League group stages after they beat Young Africans in the qualifying round.
