Mame Niang believes out-of-favour SuperSport United midfielder, Jabu Maluleke, could make it in the English Premier League, if he were to sort out a few things, despite his lack of regular game time at the Tshwane-based outfit.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the Senegalese striker expressed his disappointment at Maluleke’s situation.
“He’s my favourite player in the PSL and I keep telling him, if he had pace and a bit more physical strength, he’d definitely do well in big leagues like the English Premier League.
“He’s got so much quality and it is a pity that he hasn’t been getting enough game time to showcase his talent. He mustn’t give up because I know things will get better,” said Niang.
Maluleke could only manage a mere seven league starts under Gavin Hunt this past season, putting his future at the club in doubt.
Moroka Swallows and Golden Arrows are said to be hovering around, monitoring his situation, should he exit the club. Watch this space!
