Ex-Buccaneer Given Highlands Shot
Former Orlando Pirates youth product, Nhlakanipho ‘Nanana’ Ntuli, has been given the chance to make his way into the PSL with Highlands Park.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been a free agent for over nine months now since his contract with FC Twente in Holland was terminated by mutual consent, and despite talk of a return to Europe, nothing has materialised just yet.
Ntuli, who has represented South Africa extensively at youth level, spent some time with AmaZulu earlier this year as he looked to get himself fit for his next move, and has now started training with Highlands Park.
Having already spent around a week with Allan Freese’s side, it remains to be seen how long Ntuli will be given to impress with the Absa Premiership new boys, however he will be looking for an opportunity to get his career back on track.
