The PSL has released a statement indicating that no less that five NFD outfits have been charged by the league’s Disciplinary Committee (DC) on various charges, and will appear in front of the DC this week.
Witbank Spurs, Blackburn Rovers, Jomo Cosmos, African Warriors and FC AK, will all face the DC on their respective charges.
The release lists the respective charges, with all the clubs scheduled to appear on May 22, 2013.
“Witbank Spurs: Charged with failure to honour a scheduled NFD fixture against Roses United at the Botshabelo Stadium on 15 September 2012.
“Blackburn Rovers and Jomo Cosmos: The two clubs are charged with failure to honour a scheduled fixture between each other at Sinaba Stadium.
“African Warriors and Jomo Cosmos: The two clubs are charged with failure to honour a scheduled fixture between each other on 15 September 2013 at Charles Mopeli Stadium.
“Jomo Cosmos: Charged with failure to honour a scheduled NFD fixture against Roses United at Botshabelo 22 September 2012.
“FC AK: Charged with failure to honour a scheduled NFD fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Gelvandale in Port Elizabeth on 31 October 2012.
“FC AK: Charged with failure to honour a scheduled NFD fixture against Witbank Spurs at Eldorado Park on 20 February 2013.”
