Newly promoted National First Division side, TS Sporting are currently in the process of making Kabokweni Stadium their home stadium for the upcoming 2018/19 season.
TS Sporting who are owned by Thobela Silungu and earned their promotion to the NFD after beating Free State's Mangaung United FC via sudden-death penalties.
“This team was formed in 2016 and only after two years we are now playing in the National First Division,” said the club’s boss Silungu to Soccer Laduma.
“We want to keep this in Mpumalanga for the people of this province, this is why we want to play at the Kabokweni Stadium. Currently, the team is based in a village called the Zwelisha Trust.
“The team is in the process of building its own village with training grounds so we are making our intention known that we are a team from Mpumalanga,” added the Sporting Owner.
TS Sporting bought the status of SAB side, City Stars. In the same season the side was promoted to the ABC Motsepe League and now have been promoted the NFD.
Both TS Sporting and Maccabi FC got promoted to the NFD where they will be looking at solidifying their positions in the NFD and possibly gain promotion into the Premier Soccer League.
