Liphoko, who is a Pirates development product, has done well to revive his career with Mbombela United in the NFD in the last two years, having joined the club in 2016 from a stint with AmaZulu.
The 23-year-old winger previously also had a stint with Golden Arrows, where he was on loan from Pirates in 2013.
The Durban-born player’s three-year deal with Baroka has been confirmed by his representative, Lizwe Mthethwa of Aftesec Sports Group.
“Tshepo Liphoko has signed a three-year contract with Baroka FC. In him, the club has signed a complete modern footballer, who can play on both wings and down the middle of the park,” Mthethwa told the Siya crew.
“We are happy to have been able to bring him back to the PSL after his fine form in the NFD, where he scored six league goals from the right wing. He has all the qualities to represent the senior national team,” he added.
