An Ivorian defender has penned a new deal at Jomo Cosmos ahead of the team’s match against Ajax Cape Town.
Ange Dahou has signed a new one-year deal with Ezenkosi. The new deal for the 34-year-old player has been confirmed by the NFD club on its official Twitter account.
Meanwhile, Cosmos confirmed that their 2018/19 National First Division campaign will get underway with a match against Ajax at Vosloorus Stadium on August 19.
In preparation of the new season, Cosmos have made a number of squad changes which include signing former Mbombela United striker Inky Masuku, Daclen Ngwentjana, Tumi Ngwepe, Omphile Ledwaba and Vusi Mncube.
The likes of former team captain Thato Lingwati, Tebogo Makobela, Ananias Gebhardt, Denzil Haoseb, Lefa Hlongwane, Sicelo Mkhize and Tebogo Tlolane have parted ways with the club.
In other NFD news, Witbank Spurs have added to their roster former national beach soccer star Ndunduzo Phakhathi on a two-year deal.
Following his impressive performance at the Maimane Phiri Annual Games held recently, Hlupheka Tshabalala who captained Soweto Super United (SSU) has been signed by Uthongathi FC on a one-year deal, as confirmed by his representatives Mzwakhe Hhlongwane and Godfrey Mushanganyisi from Nalachedzo Services and Diski Management.
