Golden Arrows midfielder Jabulani Nene says the Durban-based club will turn the corner soon.
Manqoba Mngqithi’s side has lost four of their six league games so far and could be headed for a long frustrating season if they don’t collect maximum points in the next few games. The 25-year-old, Nene, believes that the break from league action has come at the right time for Abafana Bes’thende as they will be using the time to improve on some of their shortcomings.
Arrows played two friendly games on Friday, losing 1-0 to Maritzburg United and winning 4-0 against Maritzburg City.
He told the Siya crew, “We will definitely improve on where we are lacking. I think finishing has been our biggest let down since the season started. We’ve been creating a lot of chances but we failed to bury them. We promise our fans that we will bounce back stronger.”
