African Warriors booked their spot in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup after they defeated Milano United 1-0 at the Charles Mopeli Stadium.
Vincent Pule nearly opened the scoring in the first minute but the winger's long range strike flew inches inched of the right-hand post.
Lesvin Stoffels tried his luck from distance in the 15th minute but the Milano striker blasted his effort well wide of target.
Mfanelo Makume was next to have a go from range but the Warriors' midfielder fired his effort straight at Wensten Van der Linde.
The hosts nearly went ahead in the 33rd minute with the first clear cut opportunity, as Dahou Lebahi's close range header drew a fine save from Wensten Van der Linde.
Two minutes later and Kamohelo Mabuya could have given Warriors the lead but the striker headed over the bar from six-yards out.
Augustus Leonard squandered great chance to give Milano United the lead in the 52nd minute but the man on-loan from Bloemfontien Celtic, placed his effort well over the bar from inside the area.
Taariq Fielies tried his luck from distance in the 58th minute but the Milano fullback fired a powerful effort straight at Vusumuzi Magagula.
Rudiger Gilbert nearly opened the scoring in the 71st minute but the midfielder's effort from distance flew inches over the cross bar.
Josef Lekata nearly opened the scoring for the hosts in the 78th minute but the striker's header from six-yards out drew a brilliant reaction save from Van der Linde.
Lekata opened the scoring in the 84th minute with a well taken penalty, after Junaid Sait had brought down Maliele Pule in the area.
Leonard could have equalised for the visitors two minutes later but the midfielder headed over from six-yards out.
