African Warriors host Maritzburg United at the Charles Mopeli Stadium in a Nedbank Cup quarter-final clash on Saturday.
The last remaining National First Division side in the cup competition will be aiming to make history by qualifying for the last four of the Nedbank Cup for the first time in their history.
Warriors did reach the same stage of the competition last season and coach David Vilakazi will be hoping that his side can go one step further this time round.
The NFD side will be without Bonginkosi Nxumalo through suspension and Mfanelo Makume through injury.
The home side defeated fellow NFD side Milano United 1-0 in the previous round thanks to a Josef Lekata penalty.
Maritzburg United will be overwhelming favourites to book their place in the last four of the cup competition and overcome their lower league hosts.
Steve Komphela’s men have been in fine form of late, picking up two wins in their previous three matches.
The Maritzburg side saw off Platinum Stars on penalties in the previous round to book their quarter-final spot.
United will however, be without striker Thokozani Sekotlong who is struggling with a groin strain.
