SuperSport United coach Cavin Johnson admits his side were not good enough on the day following his side’s 2-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs in a Nedbank Cup quarterfinal at FNB Stadum on Saturday.
“It was a typical Cup game,” said Johnson.
“Both teams were a little cagey today.
“I thought we had the better chances.
“I really wanted to win the game and we really pushed them, but we didn’t make use of our chances in the proper way.
“We didn’t hold onto the ball long enough to get behind them.
“We needed to keep the ball on the floor and get behind them, but we didn’t do that.”
