Free State Stars goalkeeper, Celi Ndwandwe, has revealed to the Siya crew that he is prepared to compete for a place in the team.
Ndwandwe is yet to play in an official game for the Ea Lla Koto since joining the side in the 2012/13 season.
The 20-year-old competes with Daniel Agyei, Tshepo Motsoeneng and Mojalefa Hlahatsi for the number one jersey at Stars.
Ndwandwe was on the bench for Stars when the side beat AmaZulu in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout last weekend.
“Obviously, any player that wants to play in the team has to be prepared to fight for his place. You can’t just be in the team. Everything is going well so far. I can’t complain about anything,” said Ndwandwe.
Ndwandwe played for Ethekwini Coastal FC before his move to Stars. The KZN-born player signed a two-year deal with Stars when he joined the club last season.
