Golden Arrows head coach Mandla Ncikazi has revealed his one wish for next season after an impressive 2020/2021 campaign.
Abafana Besithende finished fourth in the inaugural DStv Premiership season and with that success, some of their players may be snatched up by bigger teams.
Ncikazi says he hopes to find suitable replacements if some of his key performers do leave in the upcoming transfer window.
"One my wish is not losing too many players, I wish them to grow here and if they we end up losing them because this is a business, let's replace them in time because next season will be very tough," Ncikazi told the media.
Arrows did miss out on a CAF Confederation Cup spot though and Ncikazi claims teams were more conservative against his side at the end of the season.
"We were seen as a small team but towards the end of the season, the approach changed when clubs were facing us, even big teams were starting to park a bus against Arrows and now we need to change our mindset, add more players to have big squad to avoid unnecessary pressure," he added.
"Another challenge will be maintaining success because it easy to be on top but remaining there it hard, I'm inspired by our players because they discipline so I think we will manage, we hope new players will adapt quick and easily."
