Goals Galore As Cosmos & Ubuntu Record 4-1 Wins

National First Division log leaders, Highlands Park, dropped valuable points after being held to a goalless draw by Witbank Spurs but University of Pretoria took full advantage by whipping Richards Bay 3-0, while Ubuntu Cape Town and Jomo Cosmos recorded good 4-1 wins over Mthatha Bucks and Mbombela United respectively.
AmaTuks, thanks to a brace from Thabo Moseki and Sebastiao Ritchi’s single strike, moved within a point of Highlands but Bay sunk back into the relegation zone.
There was great joy in Mthatha after last-placed Ubuntu grabbed their opening victory with Franklin Cale, Ranga Chivaviro, Bukhosi Sibanda and Taahir Ganga getting their names on the scoresheet.
Goals from Ange Lebahi, Onassis Mntambo, Mxolisi Macuphu and Clifford Mulenga helped Ezenkosi secure third spot.
