Stellenbosch Grab Second Play-Off Spot, Magesi Relegated

In a dramatic afternoon of high drama, Stellenbosch FC snatched a play-off spot from favourites, AmaZulu, who lost 1-0 to FC Cape Town, while Magesi FC were relegated back to the ABC Motsepe League following a 3-0 hammering by Mbombela United.
 
In addition, despite Royal Eagles beating Witbank Spurs 3-1, the Durban side also missed out on a top-three position.
 
A Mame Niang penalty was sufficient for Sammy Troughton’s team to finish one point ahead of Eagles and two above AmaZulu.
