The goalkeeper attracted the attention of observers for his superb performance for Natal United, against Chippa United in this year’s Nedbank Cup.
Clubs in the Premier Soccer League and in the National First Division have been keeping tabs with the goalkeeper, since his outstanding display and commitment that helped the ABC Motsepe League side oust Ernst Middendorp’s team from the prestigious competition three weeks ago.
“Nkosingiphile Zondi is in line for a PSL move in the near future. He is Natal United’s goalkeeper at the moment and has been doing well for the club in the ABC Motsepe League this season.
“The player won the Man of the Match award when they beat Chippa United in the Nedbank Cup recently, and he has impressed a number of teams.
"Chippa, AmaZulu, Polokwane City and Royal Eagles have shown interest in the 23-year-old goalkeeper from KZN. He saved one of the penalty kicks in their victory against Chippa,” a source told the Siya crew.
The player’s agent, Kabelo Sibiya, confirmed the interest in the shot-stopper.
“Yes, there is a lot of interest in the boy, but for now he is focused on helping his team to reach the promotional national play-offs again. In addition, he and his teammates are targeting a win against Golden Arrows in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup,” said Sibiya.
