Premier Soccer League prosecutor, Nande Becker has opened up about all the matters and charges he is currently dealing with in the league.

Tomorrow, April 12, the PSL will be handing down the sanction to Mamelodi Sundowns after being charged with the ineligible fielding of Wayne Arendse in a clash against Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership last year.

Speaking to the media, PSL prosecutor, Becker explained that while this matter is reaching the next step, there are countless matters that he is still dealing with.

“I have four appeals pending, of which I believe two are going to be withdrawn and there is one arbitration pending,” Becker explained.

“My job isn’t to get a piece of paper from the football department I actually investigate these things.

“I am the one who has to stand and argue these matters and get witnesses to prove the case.

“Currently I am aware of six matters that require my attention, I am in the process of investigating these matters or finalising the charge sheet, I am not prepared to discuss these matters with the press because it would unfair towards the clubs where the press know that the charges are coming and the clubs are unaware at this stage,” he added.
